SCR was originally founded by Tom Watt in 2004 as Strathcona Commercial Realty Inc. 2004. The new partnership formed with Tom Watt and Vince Lachance in 2009 has given a new vision for it’s continued change and growth in the industry.

Although SCR still sells land and buildings for its clients, SCR is working towards partnering with developers from the land acquisition phase straight through to the selling or leasing phase. SCR also handles real estate investment, working with people who think of real estate in the same way that others view the stock market. The real estate market, however, is not just limited to Strathcona County and neither is SCR, which serves clients throughout Alberta. In its effort to be proactive, SCR is also stretching its wings, reaching out to foreign investment for development of this region.

Experience in the market is a common theme among SCR’s five agents and broker, who combined have more than 60 years experience of buying and selling real estate.
